The Weeknd debuted the second installment of his Memento Mori radio show on Beats 1 today, and he surprised fans with a star-studded remix of his My Dear Melancholy, cut “Try Me.” The three rappers take turns spitting new verses on the track, which boasts production from DaHeala, Marz, Frank Dukes, and Mike WiLL Made-It.
Quavo kicks things off by rapping about his sexual prowess:
She said it’s slippery and watery, she wanna ride my boat on the seas
I said you talk a good game, ‘cus a nigga wanna see
After a verse from Trouble, Swae Lee finishes off by living out some fantasies:
Imma walk in on a chick
Loving another chick
And the first thing I can say
Is continue, don’t call it quits, continue
My Dear Melancholy, dropped back in March and spawned a Top 5 hit with “Call Out My Name.” Meanwhile, the original version of “Try Me” reached No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Weeknd is believed to be working on a full-length album that will serve as the official follow-up to his 2016 album Starboy, but there’s no official timeframe for its release just yet.
