US RAPPER, SNOOP DOGG, IN COLLABORATION WITH WARREN G AND TOP CHEF’S MICHAEL VOLTAGGIO, DURING THE WEEKEND MANAGED TO SET A NEW GUINNESS WORLD RECORD FOR THE BIGGEST PARADISE COCKTAIL EVER – AND IT WAS MADE OF GIN AND JUICE.
The trio broke the record at BottleRock Napa Valley, a three-day music, food and drink festival in Northern California, US.
The drink was a nod to Dogg’s 1995 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance nominated “Gin and Juice” track from his 1993 debut album Doggystyle, which went quadruple platinum.
Produced by Dr. Dre, the song peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1994 and was nominated for a Grammy in 1995.
Meanwhile, a representative from the Guinness World Records was at the festival to award Snoop with an official plaque to recognize the achievement.
