It’s a good step in the right direction for the south Florida emcee, born Dieuson Octave, who is currently incarcerated for violating his probation after being caught on charges of driving with a suspended license and associating with individuals committing crimes. Originally, Kodak was facing up to 12 years in prison after being arrested in January on multiple charges that also included grand theft of a firearm, drug possession, gun possession, and child neglect. Such charges were eventually dropped, and according to the Sun Sentinel, Kodak will be home as early as September after striking a plea deal.
